Step 1: Do You Live in the District?
You can check whether you are in the district by entering your address in WhereDoIVoteMA.com, and in the results, under Current District Representatives, you should see SUFFOLK AND MIDDLESEX DISTRICT in the results.

Step 3: Choose How You Will Vote
Request a Democratic Party ballot*
✉️Vote By Mail
Request your ballot before Aug 25 at 5:00 PM.
Drop completed ballots in an official secure drop box for your city or use USPS mail.
🗓️ Early In Person
Open to all registered voters from Aug 22 through Aug 28.
Vote early at ANY designated location in your specific municipality.
🗳️ In Person On Sept 1st
Polls open 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM across all precinct locations.
On Election Day, you MUST vote at your assigned polling location.
*You don’t need to enroll in a party to vote in a primary in Massachusetts. All registered voters can participate.
If you’re registered in one party, however, you can’t vote in another party’s primary.
If you aren’t enrolled in a political party, you can choose a party ballot when you check-in at your polling place. Choosing a ballot won’t enroll you in a party.
